Wayimu’s circle depicts when women and girls come together to share stories, experiences, and good yarns. When you're a girl you get invited into these spaces to listen, learn and be nurtured. My bloodline is matriarchal and I have always been influenced by the powerful women in my life. Because of them, I know that power comes in many forms. There is power in anger, but also in gentleness. There is power in patience and grace, and there is power in resilience and ferocity.
