This is a painting of Country. I used to ride the quad from my auntie’s house all through the bushes, right down to the beach where I would sit for hours and watch the waves ebb and flow. The sea breeze was so delicious against my sticky skin. It was coming into wet season so the air was always heavy; full of the promise of rain and thunderstorms and the odd cyclone. I only swam in the water a few times, never straying further than my hips because you never know when a croc would come and snap you up. The other mob would play and splash about freely but I was a little more weary about them crocs. I remember feeling so at peace there. The palm trees swayed in the breeze, I had the taste of salt and coconut on my lips. It was paradise. It was home and it was my haven away the world, a place where I could heal my spirit and connect back to my country and my being.

There are 5 sizes available and each print comes with a 3cm border.

Please allow 4-6 weeks to receive your print. Covid is causing huge delays at the moment and we will endeavour to get your print to you as quickly as possible but due to the delays it could take up to 6 weeks for you to receive your print. 

Each print comes signed and numbered.
