This artwork is a reflection of the women who have walked beside me, held me steady, and reminded me that no journey is ever taken alone. As an Aboriginal woman, I have always understood that strength is something we carry together.

It lives in our kinship, in the stories shared between generations, in the aunties who guide us, the mothers who nurture us, the sisters who stand beside us, and the friends who become family. It is found in the women who celebrate our joys, hold space for our grief, and gently lift us when our spirit grows weary.

This artwork is a celebration of the sacred bond between women. A reminder that we rise by lifting one another, that our strength is multiplied when it is shared, and that through kinship, compassion, and community, we continue to carry one another forward.
