This artwork symbolises the bay of Cairns where I spent my childhood. We would crack oysters, walk through mangroves, and eat hand picked mangoes on the beach while the sun beat down on our backs. The sea would be luke warm after a day in the tropical heat, but it helped to cool off in the shallows and wash mango off our hands before we went back to adventuring.
