My Home, My Family

When we were kids you could always find us near a body of water. Growing up in the heat and humidity, one would often need to escape to the water, whether it was a creek, a pool, or the ocean.

Within the artwork there are green ants, water, sugar cane and tropical fruits. There is food, my family, oysters that we'd find at the beach, and many more things. This piece reminds me of home and of growing up in the bush.
