I am a saltwater and freshwater woman so the water is in my blood. It’s as much a part of me as I am it. This artwork symbolises the creeks, rivers and ocean. It symbolises the crocodiles and turtles and jellyfish that inhabit these warm waters, and the people fishing in the waters. Water is sacred to my family and I, it is healing and precious, and I fondly recall many days spent in the water as a child.
