The Trees are Flowering

This artwork symbolises life in tropical Yidinji Country. As kids we picked fresh fruit and spent the day playing outside. We ate mangoes, bananas, lychees, plums, berries and so many other delicious fruits. There were giant mango and lychees trees by our house that would drop fruit. We always knew warmer weather was coming around when the mango trees began to flower and the fruit would form into tiny green globes.
