“go there, soft place” meaning to go to a place that is gentle, soft on your soul- a place that is good for you.

This artwork symbolises the softness and peace found in nature. It represents the healing that happens when you are present and you embrace the natural world. 

My parents always taught me that when I am stressed or I need a break, to take my shoes off ground my feet in the earth. To listen to the sounds of nature, and let the sunlight wash over my skin. As First Nation people this is who we are - the earth and Country is part of us and we will always be drawn back to it wherever we are. It will always care for us if we care for it.
