Dusk at Low Tide is inspired by quiet evenings by the sea, after the heat of the day gives way to a cool evening breeze, when the water pulls back and the shoreline reveals what is usually hidden. The work reflects childhood memories of gathering oysters at low tide, small hands, salty skin, and the rhythm of the ocean lapping at the shore.
