This artwork is a depiction of the coral that grows beneath the waters of the Great Barrier Reef and the deep connection I hold to my traditional Sea Country.

The ocean has always felt like home to me. There is something grounding about its movement, its colours and the life that exists beneath the surface. It is a reminder that Country holds so much more than what we can see.

Through this piece, I wanted to honour the beauty, abundance and spirit of the ocean, and my own connection to the Sea Country that has shaped me.
