My interpretation of this artwork is she (the female figure) is starting anew. She is searching deep within herself and tapping into her hidden power. She is stronger than she thinks as she has survived so much and will survive so much more still. She may feel like she is in a free fall but everything in her life is setting into place and she will come out braver, stronger and happier than before.
