This painting represents Chulki, or a Pippi shell which is a mollusk, similar to an oyster. The background is a deep blue to represent the sea and the white curvy lines represent the flow of the current.
As children my brothers and sisters and I would hunt for Chulki on the beach. We also hunt for oysters, crabs, fish and yabbies.
